Binthalya Australian Opal Earrings, Golden Topaz Earrings, Sterling Silver 18K Gold

Australian binthalya opal is one of my absolute favorite gemstones due to its unique layers of colors...pumpkin spice always comes to my mind when I think of it :) Les, our lapidarist, cut the opal cabs so beautifully...such a refined profile and gorgeous shape.
I paired the opal with 7x5 oval Golden Topaz cabochons to add some glow to the earrings.

The hand textured frames/bezels are made of a lightly oxidized gunmetal/brushed finish sterling silver accompanied by 18k gold accents found in the middle connecting rings between the two pieces as well as the disk on the bottom of the opal setting. The earwires are made of 14k gold fill.

These are truly such a unique, beautiful and one-of-a kind pair of earrings :)
