These beauties are meant to be worn in the sun...there is nothing like bright light shining through high grade translucent jade :o) The jade, which is sourced from Mt. Cassiar in BC Canada, is paired with 0.03 ct rubies (TCW 0.06 ct), and again, the sun just absolutely lights them up!
The jade has been cut with a very refined profile, and as a result the weight on this pair is a comfortable 2.8 grams. I will be including butterfly backs as well as silicone butterfly backs for added comfort if desired.
The settings are made of fused and oxidized sterling silver as well as 18k gold on the connector ring, rivet and disc the ruby is flush set into.
Approximate length from the post to bottom of the jades: 37mm
Approximate weight per earring: 2.8 grams
