These OOAK earrings bring together earthy warm hessonite garnet and cool blue/green coastal tones in this wonderful kinetic design :0) The movement of the earrings allows the gemstones to catch the light with every turn.
Les, our lapidarist, cut the chrome (trace amounts of chromium throughout the chalcedony are what results in this beautiful color) green chalcedony into shallow bullets. I set them with trios of fused silver granules surrounding the bezel allowing the setting to look good front, back and side :)
The hessonite garnets are 6mm round, and compliment the green color of the focal cabochons beautifully! The settings, chain and earwires are all oxidized sterling silver.
Approximate length from the top of the earwire to the bottom of the chalcedony: 53mm
Approximate weight per earring: 5 grams
