Ceruleite Earrings, Australian Opal Earrings, Sterling Silver, 18K Gold

Brilliant blue ceruleite is the focus in this pair of beautiful earrings :) The gemstone certainly lives up to its name with such beautiful, saturated cerulean blue color! I wish I could source more ceruleite to add to my small collection of rough, but it seems to be somewhat of a rarity. This particular rough orginated from Chile.

We paired the ceruleite with 5x3 oval solid Australian crystal opal cabochons as flashes of green and blue in the opal really compliment the main stone in the design :)

The ceruleite cabochons are wrapped in 18K gold, with an 18K tube bail. There is a slight texture applied to the very top of the bezel where it meets the ceruleite :) There is also an 18K gold frame around the sterling silver bezel of the opals. The rest of the setting is made of sterling silver with a light oxidizing to contrast nicely with the high karat gold details in the earrings. Such a pretty, ancient inspired pair of earrings!
