Natural abalone puts on quite a show in this large, round statement pendant :) The patterns and changing flashes of color as the light shifts is mesmerizing! I have to admit that once I had finished this piece I had to make a second one for myself :) (I layer it with my long 18k gold station chain, but it would look great layered with silver chains or alone as well)...
The setting is made of oxidized sterling/fine silver and the bezel has a notched pattern I added on the very top for some added interest :) There are 18k gold accents on the top jump ring and bail ring as I always love the way 18k gold looks against silver that has patina. There is also a delicate leaf print pattern on the reverse side of the pendant...a secret little detail for the wearer :0)
The chain is adjustable (hook, ring extension) from 17-19" and made of oxidized sterling silver.
The abalone measures 30mm round.
