Utah Red Horn Fossil Coral Ring, Sterling Silver

Sometimes I have a hankering to get Les to cut a really unique, relatively unknown gemstone..and this coral certainly fits the bill :)

This is red horn fossilized coral from Utah. It is not very plentiful so I have held on to a small parcel of rough over the years and have never made anything with it until now. The intricate patterns within the agatized coral are truly stunning, and in this cabochon so nicely centered (sometimes it is difficult to get a perfect round radial pattern).

The coral is set in a high polish fine silver, thicker gauge bezel. The shank is made of oxidized sterling silver which has silver dust fused to it for added texture. This is truly a large, gorgeous statement ring!
The gemstone remains unset so that I can adjust the size to whatever is desired...just leave a note in the shop just leave a note for the shop upon checkout in the "Special Order Insructions" box.  :)
